Integration of engineering education and Humanities: global intercultural perspectives
(HUMCONF 2020)

The purpose of the forum: discussion and development of new scientific directions and concepts of integration of humanitarian and engineering education, cultural and linguistic development of students against the background of global changes in geopolitics, the increasing impact of the information and technological revolution of the late XX and early XXI century on the ecology and human life, the modern development of the Arctic designed to make a significant contribution to the implementation of the national project “Education” (2019-2024), aimed at providing a global competitive Russian education.

The conference will be organized in the framework of five areas of scientific discussions:

  • Area 1: The linguistic direction of integration of engineering education and the humanities: the concept of integrated teaching foreign languages and professional disciplines in universities of Russia, Europe and America.
  • Area 2: Sociological direction of integration: the formation of social (flexible) competencies among students of technical universities as a means of individual-personal development of future engineers.
  • Area 3: Psychological and pedagogical direction of integration of engineering education and the humanities: technologies and methods of active learning in the training of future engineers.
  • Area 4: Cultural direction of integration. Picture of the world of humanitarian and technical experts: cross-cultural analysis.
  • Area 5: Information and communication direction of integration: Digital technologies in the system of higher education.

The work of the symposium will be organized within the framework of two directions of scientific discussions:

  • Area 6: Linguistics: the idioms of the peoples of the Arctic.
  • Area 7: Lingvodidaktics: teaching the idioms of the peoples of the Arctic.

Conference fee does not include accommodation payment. The costs of travel and accommodation participants cover themselves. All payments from the Russian citizens and organisations are made in rubles.

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

To register for the international scientific forum "International and interregional integration in the field of engineering education" You need to fill out a questionnaire of the forum participant. Read the requirements for registration of articles. Pay the registration fee (after receiving confirmation of acceptance of your article).

To register for the platform conference IEEHGIP2020 and apply for publication of the article and abstract through the platform in one document.

According to the results of the forum, it is planned: the publication of a collection of conference materials and a symposium in the form of scientific articles in English in the collection “Lecture Notes in Networks & Systems” published by Springer Nature, based on an agreement with the NCC “Kairos”, and placed in the Scopus database.

Applications for remote webinars / trainings in Russian are being received for the preparation of publications in foreign publishers, for example in Springer Nature.
