Information letter

The International Forum is dedicated to discussion and development of new scientific directions and concepts for the integration of humanitarian and engineering education, cultural and linguistic development of students in the context of global changes in geopolitics, the increasing impact of the information and technological revolution of the late XX and early XXI centuries on the environment and human life, designed to make a significant contribution to the implementation of the national project "Education" (2019-2024), focused on ensuring the global competitiveness of Russian education.

Scientific discussions

Concepts of integrated teaching of foreign languages and professionally-oriented subjects at universities in Russia, Europe and America.

Technical, technological and humanitarian foundations for the development and application of new educational platforms based on the interrelated concepts of the artificial intelligence theory and adaptive learning, in the context of the changes caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution (technologies of industry 4.0 and 4.1).

The development of engineering students’ social (flexible) skills as a means of individual and personal development of future engineers.

Technologies and methods of active learning in the professional training of future engineers.

The worldview of humanitarian and engineering specialists - cross-cultural analysis.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Step

To register for the International Scientific Forum "International and Interregional Integration in in the field of Engineering Education", you need to fill in the Forum participant form and submit/download an abstract for preliminary review. The address to which abstracts should be sent will be given in the registration reply.

Step

After receiving a positive review of your abstract, you can register on a specialized platform and upload your paper. The link to the platform will work after October 30th (see Important dates). To find the Guidelines and technical instructions for paper preparation and formatting follow the link below.

Step

After receiving the confirmation of paper acceptance, the registration fee must be paid and the conference organizing committee informed.

The accepted papers will be published in the book series «Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems» (Springer Nature) indexed by SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago. All books published in the series are submitted for consideration in Web of Science.

Forum languages: Russian and English.

Form of participation in the forum: in-person and distant.

KEY SPEAKERS

Alfred Nordmann

Professor of Philosophy of Science and of Technoscience at Darmstadt Technical University. He remains affiliated with the University of South Carolina, is a guest professor at South China University of Technology in Guangzhou. He is an editor of the Routledge book-series History and Philosophy of Technoscience.

David Marsh

David Marsh PhD is Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London, and member of the Academic Advisory Council, EduCluster Finland, University of Jyväskylä Group. He has experience of tasks in over 40 countries, contributed to over 160 publications, presented over 130 invited keynotes, and received 5 degrees from the United Kingdom, Finland, and Spain. His key current interests are educational systems-based transformation, bilingual education, realizing OECD global competences, and adjusting educational practices for digitally astute young people.

Victor Pavon Vázquez

Professor and Head of the Department of English and German Philology, university of Córdoba (Spain),one of the leading specialists in Europe in the sphere of bilingual education and teacher training.

Natalia D. Galskova

Professor of the Department of Linguodidactics at Moscow State Regional University; one of the prominent Russian scientists in the sphere of theoretical and practical aspects of Teaching Foreign Languages.

Alexander S. Korotkov

Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the scientific laboratory — «Micro- and nanoelectronic systems on a crystal», acting Director of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications SPbPU Peter the Great. Research interests: Theory and design of integrated circuits, including radio frequency circuits; computer modeling of integrated circuits; methods of circuit analysis; wireless communication circuits and systems; ternary logic schemes.

Eduard G. Krylov

Doctor of Science (Pedagogics), PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Professor of the Chair of Mechanics, Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University; Deputy Chair of Permanent Commission for Education of International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM). Research interests: integrative teaching of foreign languages and engineering, theory of machines, renewable energy sources.

Professor of the Department of Bilingual and Digital Education, Kazan Federal University, a well-known specialist in implementation of European technology of bilingual education - CLIL - in Russian schools and universities.

    The modern congress center with comfortable halls is equipped with everything necessary for conferences and other events. It is located in the heart of the university campus on the north of St. Petersburg within easy walking distance of the metro station Polytechnicheskaya.
